About

MSG Cafeteria was born back in the early Noughties when the group was perched on the floors of The Hill and Sawdust Central in high school. We all shared a common love of food, especially in the form of Ivanhoe's thermos, which was like the Mary Poppin's bag for lunch - filled with glorious food carefully crafted by her grandma.

Don't ask us what the "MSG" stands for as each of us will probably provide a different answer but we were all united under this banner throughout our days as studious youngsters that shared many lunchtimes over $1 Maxibons or a bottle of Yakult.

Nowadays, our love of food continues, despite having departed our beloved high school in search of bigger and better things, and this blog sets out as a gastronomical journal of our food adventures across Sydney and beyond.

Having learnt to cook from a young age, ChippityChirp has always had a passion for food and is always on the lookout for the next big food adventure. She loves to cook but doesn't have much free time so usually cooks to survive and on those special occasions when she sets aside the time. However, she tends to cook more than she can eat so is always looking for guinea pigs. Beware of what you eat... You can follow ChippityChirp's foodie adventures on Instagram or Zomato (for when she's too lazy to blog).
